National Bison Day 2025

Join us for our annual National Bison Day celebration, a day of FREE fun for everyone!

• Learn about the Miami Tribe and native American art
• Glimpse life in Indiana before European settlement 
• Play in at Drum Circle (10:30, 11:30, & 1 pm)
• Try your luck on the LC Trail, an Oregon Trail style game
• Walk through the woods and prairie and see trails not normally open to the public
• Explore the Trillium Trading Post and talk with reenactors from the Old Fort
• Learn about land conservation, restoration, and stewardship from our experts
• Make a s’more around the fire
• Take a hay wagon ride to try and spot bison and elk
